Welcome to EMPOWERS

EMPOWERS is a regional partnership of fifteen organizations allied together to improve long-term access to water by local communities. We mean to do so by advocating stakeholder-led activities to empower local people in integrated water resources management and development.

EMPOWERS 4-year (2003-2007) project is mainly funded through the European Union's Regional MEDA Water Programme for Local Water Management. EMPOWERS is being implemented in Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine.
