EMPOWERS Partnership has recently published the second issue of its biannual magazine EMPOWERS Insight. The 24-page issue contains a variety of subjects related to integrated water resources management and participatory approaches to local water governance. This issue is a combination of articles, case studies and news that are aimed at creating awareness of the necessity, role and impact of right-based approaches to water management.
This issue is now available online below. You can download it either as a complete version or individual pages for a faster download. In few cases where a study or topic occupies more than a page, it is combined in one file.
The EMPOWERS Partnership is developing Guidelines for Imporved Local Water Governance that provide a practical and logical framework of activities that will lead to improved local water governance.
We appreciate providing us with any comment or suggestion that would add to or improve the content of these Guidelines. An Arabic version of the first four chapters is also available.
Kindly send your feedback either online in the special part included in each section or via email: empowers@nic.net.jo before March 15, 2007.
