EMPOWERS helps Qabatya Municipality in Strategic Planning Qabatya town, one of the EMPOWERS target communities in Palestine, lately witnessed elections for its municipal council. Upon the formation of the council, the elected members asked the EMPOWERS Palestine team for assistance in making a strategic plan for the municipality by using the EMPOWERS approach for identifying the municipality problems -managerial, manpower and public- and making visions, scenarios, and strategies for the four-years term of the council.
New: EMPOWERS Supports a Farmers Society in Qabatya With the support of EMPOWERS Partnership in Palestine, a group of farmers in the town of Qabatya (in Jenin Governorate) decided to establish a cooperative society for local farmers whose lands rely on irrigation.
