Our Communities in Egypt Publicize EMPOWERS

Members of two EMPOWERS communities in Egypt have recently produced the first issue of their own wall newspapers. 

The two newspapers that were produced in a participatory manner also including the EMPOWERS Egypt team are now hung in public places in 'Masharqa' and 'Kassab' where all the citizens and visitors of the two villages can see them and become acquainted with the objectives and activities of the Project.  

Adopting the EMPOWERS Newsletter approach, the locals included in their newspapers topics on the progress of the Project in their communities and the opinions and suggestions of the citizens about this progress. 

Instantly upon the completion of the first issue of the each newspaper, editors in both villages started planning for an expanded and variant second issue.
