ZENID Joins EMPOWERS Partnership

ZENID will be adopting the earlier developed approaches of the project such as stakeholders analysis, water resources assessment, strategic planning, and concerted action.  It will also participate in improving the skills of the EMPOWERS Jordan team especially that of facilitation.  ZENID's assumption of such role stems from recognition of the vast experience it has gained in working with local communities and implementing empowerment and human development programmes throughout Jordan.

 Although started earlier, this cooperation became official  by an agreement that was signed by Ms. Eman Al-Nimri, ZENID Director; and Mr. Liam Maguire, ‘Jordan CARE’ Director; in the presence of Mr. Peter Laban, EMPOWERS Regional Coordinator; Dr. Murad Bino, INWRDAM Executive Director; Eng. Abdullah Al-Nuaimat from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Jordan team.
