National Stakeholders

For the EMPOWRES project, stakeholder platforms have been established, consisting of all relevant stakeholders together with representatives of the selected communities in order to experiment, learn, and assimilate approaches to pro-poor water governance and IWRM.

The stakeholder platforms are given guidance by national level steering committees to ensure that the approaches developed are in conformity with national policy and therefore open to being scaled up and institutionalized.
